Bowed Electricity:  A comprehensive site devoted to electric violins.  Compiled by John Schussler, a composer, player and performer who owns this site and several others under the moniker lightbubble.com.
Louis Caporale:  An American maker of acoustic violins based in Tokyo, Japan.  Studying violin making since the age of 15, Caporale San is a graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making. He teaches the art of violin making himself now, and deals magnificent instruments from all over the world. If you are looking for a quality acoustic violin, this is the man you should seek first.

madfiddler: Mark Alan Knight. Electric fiddler in the UK; educated but slightly insane.
Mr. O: Mr. O is a violin player and maker in Japan.  This page is in Japanese, so you may need to download Japanese fonts if your computer is not already equipped.  There is a smaller English version of the site available on the homepage.
Shenzo!  Extreme Violinist:  The Evil Kinevel of the violin world!  performing death defying stunts and playing profusely all the while!
Starfish Designs:  Very interesting designs of violins, cellos, contrabasses and harps!  Well worth a look, and of such fine craftsmanship I might have second thoughts about destroying one of them with a Mallion Violin.
