Ahhhhh. Anniversaries are always a great time to protest
illegality,
immorality,
hypocrisy,
greed,
bullshit
fear propaganda, the
incarceration of innocent people, the
torture of innocent people, rendition
(the torture of innocent people by the USA outside of the USA),
the
death of innocent people and of course, of COURSE, dishonesty.
Which brings us to today, the anniversary of the Beginning
of Gulf War II.
Oh I know, I know, the republicans all say Saddam
was a really bad monster and needed to go. They always fail to apologize
for putting
his ass in power
to begin with. By the way, who
has killed more innocent Iraqis? Saddam
or the good ole USA?
I know, I know, the Republicans all say the he had weapons
of mass destruction, but they
have never apologized for selling
him those weapons, including
the chemical ones, in the 80’s (WHAT
a rallying cry, WE know he has the weapons because WE HAVE THE RECIEPTS!!!).
I know, I know, the republicans say now, the Iraqis will never be tortured
by Saddam again, but who needs Saddam when you have that bitch Rumsfelch,
the CIA
and American
troops raiding your homes for no reason in the middle of the night to
terrorize your ass? This
kind of shit happens a lot in Falluja. Quite
a lot. No justification? No search warrant? No problem I got a tank
parked in your front yard and a
rifle in your wife's face! Why
don't these bastard camel jockeys like America? I
just cant figure it out. We
are only there to help after all....
And I know, I KNOW I heard about the purple fingered election…
So
what?!? Did
you know that there was an election in Vietnam during its civil war
(in which the USA killed millions)? How did that country turn out?
Did
you hear that women are loosing their rights that they had under
the Saddam
Republican party? That
the Iraqi government voted in favors Iran? Did you ever think that
most people were just
voting to get the US out of their country so they can have some peace
and their fucking jobs back? How many unemployed
Iraqi engineers are there in iraq now that Halliburton
wont let them have access to their own goddamned oil fields? Iraq
didn't need our help with their oil fields before the war and they don't
need it now. Halliburton
is taking valuable jobs away from qualified Iraqis and giving the profits
to that punk ass Bush’s friends.
By
the way, where is Osama? Too
bad the Bush administration didn't take up the Taliban's offer to turn
him in. Or was that part of the plan? Bush
likes to pretend that he knows, but he ain't ever known jack shit
about anything but
being a rich spoiled brat. Check
out the look on the CIA directors face here when Bush is feeding the
reporters bullshit!
So this is my silent protest. This is my flag that I have owned since
well before I hit puberty. I will remain in the distress position until
the world comes to its senses and removes our troops and companies from
Iraqi soil, by reason or force. I hope all of our troops come home safely,
but unfortunately a rigged
election that was padded by support from the party
blind and the immoral,
homophobic, religious majority will keep them there until they are
all DEAD or too limbless to fight anymore, left
to fight the government for their healthcare.
Nothing says peace like an upside down American flag.
Even though neither of them would agree with me, I don't think either
of my air force grandfathers (both sides of the family) served for decades
so that the current regime could degrade America’s name with an
offensive that disrespects,
injures, maims, imprisons and tortures
innocent people everywhere while pretending
to spread freedom and support human rights in the name of profit.
Support
the troops.
Bring
them home before while they are still alive.
And then sue the shit out of Halliburton
and the Bush family to pay for the
benefits that they will struggle
to receive.
PEACE!
